Well your interpretation of light is one that is completely subjective... perhaps the voter viewed your photo from say, a gnats point of view... to a gnat, your feather would mostly likely be concidered heavy, and therefore your shot would not meet the challenge... :o)

... and when gnats get to vote... that will be a valid argument. To be fair however, you did state that ... "perhaps the voter viewed your photo from say, a gnats point of view"... I guess all is possible.

I didn't vote this particular photo, however I admit that I voted a little lower for feathers, because I felt that that was not "Light" but "Lite" just an opinion.
