I found this whilst surfing today, quite possibly the most enourmous photographs ever created on earth.

Yeah, the detail is simply amazing! I recognize most of the places in his image gallery because they are close to my university

Its worth noting the people "observing" beach-goers with big lenses on this page.... caught red-handed by a massive resolution camera.

9" x 18" film camera. It's about as digital as my Spotmatic.

What I think is weird about this FILM camera is that when they post their images their web they are something like 72dpi. They look the same as my post production D100 web files. It annoys me that they an insinuating this is a digital device.

FYI, dpi is for printing...I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter for viewing on the Web. linky
