Heya,
I've been considering buying myself a lens adapter and at least a polarizer for the time being.
I found a store that sells a Kenko lens adapter (52mm) and a Hama circular polarizer, but still haven't ordered those yet.

I'm trying to get those in Israel and it doesn't seem many stores sell those unfortunatly - so if you know something, let me know.

Any tips & advices would be great also.

I got my adapter tube and filters off ebay. no noame brand stuff, and it works just fine. many ebayers will ship overseas - just ask.

consider the 52 adapter and Cokin A or P filters and adapters. You can move them to the next camera you buy and generally they are a MUCH cheaper alternative than standard filters. Might be a bit more hassle on a P&S camera though.

Get multiple adaptor tubes so you can change filters quick and easy without having to thread them on each time. The adaptor tube snaps on and off easily.
As for filters. My favorite are the hoya close up filters. You should be able to get a set on ebay under $30US and you'll never shoot macros the same again.

I decided to give eBay a try and found this package: //cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3871768694

Do you have any experience with Fotodiox ?

Looks like this is going to be my first eBay buy ever :-)
