Hey Everyone, I would love to hear feedback about this picture. Personally, I like it a lot and would like to hear from others. It was taken in Macro Mode with my Kodak DX6490 and just a simple lamp.... Thanks everyone :)

Come on, anyone out there? Would really appreciate anything...

I'll play...

Seriously this makes for a very cool abstract...however the part I don't understand is is the black strip across the top...it (strip) seems to be pretty harsh in an otherwise calm chaos. The line just seem too clean for me. May have worked better with a White on White background.

Just my thoughts...

this is me...bored...

alright..so I butchered your image a bit, but in the process I noticed some things that you may want to fix.

as mentioned, the focus is weird. There also seems to be a yellowish tint coming from somewhere. I preferred the shot w/o the black stripe as well

Hahaha, thanks for butchering it!! Nooo, funny idea actually! This is my last try at messing around with this picture, I made the black strip softer and hopefully less distracting. Thank you so much to those of you that commented, I appreciate it!

good call with curving the horizon...thats actually the best way to go (see compromise is always good).

one if the things I did was use the eraser tool to clean up the bottom edge of the paint blob, something you may want to consider of your going for a cleaner shot.

...but thats just me
