Well...my girlfriend wanted to go to Walmart so I decided I'd throw a few pictures on CD and see what they looked like in 4x6 just because I was bored.

I printed 3 of them out and went to pay and the woman asked me if I had the originals for 2 of the 3. I said I shot them in digital and the original is on the CD I just printed them from. Luckily this one woman who used to live down the road is the manager there and vouched for me -- I must say it was rather flattering.

I realize this has been discussed before and happens to a lot of the people here, but I just figured I'd share.

In other words, they thought you were printing copyrighted pics? Yeah, that happens to me all the time at Costco! ;)

oh by the way...

without the text, obviously...it looks SO good printed it's not funny. I'm thinking of going back for an 8x10 for my mother. The detail is just insane in just a 4x6...and I was complaining the whole time up there in my head about how the city was covered by a smog...I hoped to salvage a B&W out of it. I'm impressed.

I went back for round two today and printed an 8x10 of this one...

I must say it looks great. I gave the copy to my mother though because she really likes that sort of thing.

I never realized printing pictures was so fun...I just hope I can stop because it *could* get expensive.

EDIT: I'm definately going to be doing a 20x30 some time -- I just have to wait for that right photo.

geez...that one of pittsburgh is just incredible!! I can't imagine a better photo of such an interesting city...
