I was just wondering if anyone on here is going to watch the UFC this weekend? (or just knows what it is)

its a lot safer for the fighters now though. They had to make some rules so it wouldn't get outlawed. Two guys I know are going to fight in it.

I really liked the first ones. Too much hugging men after a while. Are they still worth watching?

My ex was involved in it (jui-jitsu) and his friend Adam used to compete (I think he's training for it again now).

It's a lot more technical than most people would think, I loved watching them/it.

Jacko they are deffinately worth watching still. It is a lot more technical now but there should be some insane fights on this card. There are some big guys that can scrap in this one. Should be a good one to watch.

Hey, bring your cameras if you want a picture for the "Pain" challenge. Capture that "look" when someone is applying an arm-bar!!

I used to train with Marice Smith, he held the title for a while. I'm too old for that now, but still enjoy watching. I get a workout by just watching, especially if it's someone I know.

I've taught for Pat Miletich for the last 8 years. It seems like for the last few years there has been someone from our gym in just about all of them. We just recently had writer/director John Herzfeld hangout for a week here. He was studying the fighters for a movie he is writing. Its pretty cool having people like that come to little Bettendorf, IA.

I saw a relatively small girl walk into the ring with a huge guy, catch him with a flying arm bar and nearly make him cry..both for pain and being beaten by a girl in under 10 seconds .. hahaha hilarious!
