I would buy it but seems like people would throw stones at me for not getting a dSLR :P

I had an f707 that I could not sell - though I was offering it (about a year ago) for $400 with tons of accessories (flash, wide-angle, lots of memory sticks, extra batteries, etc.) The resale value of digital cameras seems to be pretty limited. The quicker you get it to eBay, the more you can sell it for, but I wouldn't plan any long vacations from the proceeds.

psh, you dont have to clean the sensor. dont say you want olympus either, because you dont. you want a 717. my 717 more specifically.

How cool it is that all my accessories for my s70 works on the 717 too.

Fredmiranda.com has a sales forum, you could try that.

You may want to reconsider your prices as well. It looks like the camera is only going for around $450 on ebay.

What was the reason for not using ebay? You could have that thing sold in a week for what you are looking for in price with the flash and all the extras you have with it.

I dont have an ebay seller account and dont want to start one just for this one item because how would it look with someone with no selling feedback selling a camera for a few hundred bucks?

Here is a recently closed eBay auction for a Sony F717. It appears to have very similar extras.

I wasnt saying you are not.
I am just selling the camera and battery...thats all.
Some might want all, some might want just the camera.

Couldn't find a post for this but, how important is it to get an AF lens as opposed to a MF? I wouldn't expect to be shooting sports or fast moving objects if I were to get a MF lens. Whaddya think?

Don't mean to hijack, sorry.
I've never used an MF before so I don't know, but it seems it would be necessary to know how to do it to be a well-rounded photog.
