Took this after a snow storm here in Pittsburgh. Any comments or suggestions?

I am no expert but the light is so flat it lends neither to depth nor detail to your photo. I like the composition but it needs to be taken under different lighting.

Or soften it up and make it really flat, perhaps, even block up the dark areas in a soft-focus overall effect, I can't describe what I mean, if I get a chance I'll try it.

well with winter storms...you can always retake a photo. You gotta use what you got lol. Thats why I asked for help. I was thinking about the soft focus.

any other ideas? I tried it with the soft focus...I like it. I'm at work right now. I'll post it later.

Here is a softened version of the photo. Anyone like this one better?

What did you use - gaussian blurr?

I used a plug-in called dreamy suite by auto-fx.

I think the softened image looks as though it's badly overexposed and has lost too much detail. I agree with the earlier sugegstion about rethinking the lighting. Go back to this spot at sunrise/sunset depending on which has the best lighting, and use a tripod. Should make a world of difference.
