First two taken today, third a previous challenge entry which did OK but I think I messed up the PS; this is a more sensitive reworking.

Any comments/criticisms appreciated. Thanks. Ben

the first and third are wonderful...the second seems a little wierd that he would be reading a newspaper there. It looks way to posed. Mabey if he was fishing or something.

just mho

I like 2 & 3. The contrast of the ocean and the fence is great. I agree the man looks a little staged but still believable.

The first one is just boring, and unnatural colors don't help. The third one is lacking something interesting on the foreground to create a plot of some kind. Also looks like the hilights in the clouds were blown and covered up.

The second one is absolutely fantastic with nothing to add, remove or change. I suppose i would call it "Two and a half".

All my very subjective opinions.

I like the first one, it is very reminiscent of the Oregon Coast, we lived in Oregon for 16 years. It might not mean much to others but it captures the feel of the beach for me. We had a lot of those kind of small streams, that would flow across the sand like that.

The second one I am not too keen on, just a mater of taste.

The third one I like but not as much as the first

The colors look off in number one and it really doesn't capture my interest. Number two is a very interesting composition IMO; however, I think it looks a little overprocessed. The colors seem a little off in number three as well. I also think that number three would have been improved with a foreground object of some sort; however, I think it is ok as is. Number two is my pick of the three. :)
