sorry this is in the indivual photograph one too, I can't figure out how to delet it...
anyway
I was just given a fish tank to use, but now how do I get it to where there is no glare on the glass, my polerizer just isn't doing the job

If you must use a flash, it helps to shoot at an angle.
However, if you have decent lighting (lots 'o lights!), position them so they don't glare (over the top of the tank is best, if there is no hood) and turn off the flash on your camera. Snap away. |

Eliminate as much as possible any light falling on the glass from outside the tank. Get up very close to the glass. Light the tank from above. You might consider off-camera flash, but a powerful incandescant light will work also.

Also try one of those rubber lens hoods and press it up against the glass, this will eliminate any back flare.
