When most of you shoot indoors, do you play with the lighting or do you know right off the bat where and how you want the lighting to be? I am new to this and find that I play with the lighting a great deal. I look for different effects. Even if I do not like the effect I want I sometimes see effects that maybe I can use elsewhere.

It's funny you should ask. I've been playing with the lighting for the last hour to try and get the effect I'm looking for. Mind you, I'm not at the level of some people on here so it takes ma a little longer to get a finished product.
