I am creating a poster for a forthcoming concert in aid of the Tsunami victims.

We need an image that is suitable for the poster, so if anyone feels they have one please post it here for consideration.

I am open to suggestions, although it will be printed on a black background so anything that will fit that will be preferable.

The image on their website is pretty apt, which will give you a good idea of what i need. //www.525.org.uk/

You will not be paid, so if anyone is expecting money for their images -please do not post them. (I am also doing this for free)

However you will be credited with your name and website.

What kind of angle are you after? What is the message and tone of the poster?

Somthing subtle, no chesy band images though. If you look at the URL I sent that is pretty much how I think they want it.

Need is today though.

I still don't really know what you want. Something to suggest the entertainment or something to represent the tragedy? Perhaps someone out there has an image that shows a calm, but reflective notion. Or maybe you need a more human approach - a portrait? More optimistic?

You can have any of mine. I don't have anything that I would consider appropriate, but if you take a look and find something, it's likely I can dig up the original.

I'd imagine that anything involving the ocean might not be considered appropriate. I know I wouldn't wanna look at that bastard if it'd just screwed me over that badly...

Quite! I did think how ridiculous I was being to be honest!! :/

A metaphoric approach may be best I think.

Perhaps the theme to consider would be:

Giving life
Life out of death
Success through adversity
Strength through togetherness
New from old
Regeneration
Power

I'll keep thinking...

Regeneration is good, as is sorrow without being negative.

Or remorse - candles are good but would like a human element too. There is no brief given to me so I am open. However whatever i choose could always be rejected of course.

Edited poor spelling

Thanks. But I think water based images may be a little too much?
