The ONLY bad part of this outcome is that we won't see any more of Alan's great football shots this year. Personally, I'll miss that.
To the rest of the Pittsburgh fans: hang in there. You guys are very likely the next powerhouse in the AFC. Didn't happen this year, but, you had one monstrous, and impressive run.
FWIW: I think the Steelers are a classy organization. This week, there was no trash talk between the organizations, and everyone stayed focused on the game. Top notch.

Great game, even though I'm still in shock over the 4th and 1 field goal call. Getting 3 points doesn't help when you are down by 14, still need two scores. |

I can't remember who the last coach was that you could actually hearing the fans in the stadium booing for his decision to go for the field goal rather than try running it in. But you sure could hear it tonight. |

5) Hailing a taxi to get away from the stadium in the 3rd quarter!
4) Muffling their screams of dismay and horror
3) Forming a giant arrow to show Rothlesberger which recievers
are his!
2) Hiding their faces
1) To soak up the tears of disapointment!

Awesome game. Steelers a team to watch for sure. Patriots coaching staff may get gutted next season, who kknows how that will play out.

Hey, we Ohioans don't have much going for us in the way of professional sports. Most of our teams finish with mediocre records (some with losing records) and Hockey isn't even here this year. There's a lot of rough times in Ohio's professional sports history. Why do you think everyone's crazy about the buckeyes? :D |

Or let me just go back a couple pages and re-read this thread. Who was it said the Eagles weren't even going to the Superbowl? Well maybe what we have now in 2 weeks will be a slightly better match then either of the games I watched today.
