Overall nicely composed, and exposed, but there are several distractions: The harsh shadows on the legs, the window frame, and the facr the 'face' is in shadow while the 'hair's' highlighted. These factors tend to draw attention from the face.
The /thumb/ command, I think, only works with images uploaded to DPC; else you have to have an actual thumbnail uploaded somewhere.

Nicely done, but the angle of the sculpture has me turning my head to straighten it out. I might try to straighten it out to where the head to butt of the statue is perpendicular to the ground, it would still has the sense of unique angle as the line on the building would still be at a slant.

Some people think it is a sin to alter a subject and talk a great deal about honesty in photography. I don't and wonder why you didn't move the plant stalk that shoots across the front of the subject breaking up the pool of shadow, while the window ledge and stucco line cut parallel behind her. These create a busy matrix for such a calm subject, and what is that black thing in her lap?
I like the shadows on her legs and the tones on the statue are qite fine, but the eye id drawn to distractions that you could have moved or framed out of the shot. |
