wow -- good thing you brought your camera with you...and good thing no one was hurt....it's gotta be tough to flip a 2wd ford ranger geez.

Actually, 2wd pickups are the WORST vehicle to drive on the road in the snow, with the possible exception of motorcycles. There's usually no weight in the back, so little or no traction and they have relatively high center of gravity, so if they get sideways at any speed, they'll probably flip.

Amen to that, Spazzy. My neighbor has the same vehicle but 4WD, and he STILL loads it with 200 lbs of sandbags over the rear axle every winter. Unloaded 2WD pickups SUCK for traction.

I have 500 pounds of sandbags in the back of my truck. TWD did excellent in the snow today. Chevy Silverodo

Why not. Call em now and tell them you have shots available from the accident earlier today.

Did you get names and all that? Otherwise, not sure what use they'd be.

On another note -- you should try a Jeep Wrangler in the snow. You think a 110" wheelbase gets squirley -- your should see what a 93" wheelbase is like hahaha -- add in my 3 inches of lift and the only real thing on my side is the 50/50 weight distribution.

Having owned a a toyota pickup, dakota, two rangers, and now my wrangler, I'd take the dakota in the snow any day (although I'm sure it would get stuck before the wrangler, it seemed more stable).
