How do you turn off the flash on the Canon 20D when shooting in the Macro and portrait modes in low light situations. Thank you. |

Use any of the modes except full auto and don't put the flash up. Try P (Program) mode. |

Thanks, I have done that but was just wondering if it could be done in Macro or Portrait modes. |

After you press the shutter half way, the flash pops up....continue to hold the shutter halfway, and just push the flash back down. The shutter speed will compensate accordingly. |

shoot in AV, TV, or M mode.
