Daniel, I am so sorry to hear about this.
I hope your normal vision will get back sooner then you'd expect.
But do rest and don't let those eyes work too hard!
Thinking of you,
Adi

Going without dpc for a month will be a hardship, but less of one than diminished eyesight. Please do what it takes to get well. You'll be missed.

Dan, sorry to hear about your misfortune, you will be missed.

Maybe it's time to start thinking of doing more natural light photography when you're up to it. In the meantime, rest up and protect your eyes. Get an LCD monitor, get outdoors more as natural light is more beneficial and less straining. Wear sunglasses in bright conditions, though, especially with snow! Vitamin B is good for nerve health. Near vision work stresses the eye muscles and far vision puts them at rest.

And don't forget the chicken soup!

Be well and I'm hoping for your speedy recovery.

By the way, I don't know if this is true or not, but I heard that lots of sex is good for your vision. Just do it with your eyes closed. lol
