I just got back from the Caribbean. Took over 300 shots but here a few of my favorite stop for photography, Parrot Jungle in Miami. Will post the rest on PBase when I finish processing but for now an appetizer. Enjoy and comments are welcome.

WOW!. I'm a sucker for wildlife shots with lots of colour so don't expect much in the way of criticism but I especially like the first one. I thingk the central pose works well.

And I love the one of the green heron that rusty brown is beautiful.

The third one was strange. I'm not sure if the feather pattern is real or if it's moire but it's quite off-putting

Thanks for the comments. As for the feather pattern on the third shot that is the way it looked up close and personal. Pretty intricate. However, I may have oversharpened a bit.

Great color! Those pics would look good on a Jimmy Buffet CD cover!

These were taken at Parrot Jungle Island in Miami, near the cruise ship terminal. I had a day to kill on my return from the Caribbean so went over to visit. Pretty good nature perserve with some of the birds and animals roaming free.
