I need to get a good multi-use flash, I want to be able to use the flash for portrait/still life photography and possibly out door evening or night pics, sports pics inside and basic indoor photography. Any suggestions for a specific flash or what to look for when buying a flash would be greatly appreciated.
heres my specs

ΓΆ€ΒΆ 70-300 mm lens
ΓΆ€ΒΆ inexpensive
Thank you

well what do you consider inexpensive?
I would say a ttl is the best
canon makes a cheaper but good I think 440 and a great 580 (or 550) not sure of the numbers
TTl will read the light and give you the right amount of flash |

thanks ellamay, I have been looking at the pricing online and it seems to be about what you thought. have You ever dealt with other lense manufacturers? anyone else out there putting out a good product for less expense? $449 is a pretty good chunk of cash to start out with |
