What size? Up to 12x18 I would go to Costco. Good prices, quick turnaround, profiles available online. You have to be a member though.

Edit: Made a mistake on the size.

I'm sure different people will have their favourite and it probably depends on what you want. Most local photo labs these days have some way of printing digital. Sometimes I prepare images and burn the ones I want printed onto a CD.

I have recently heard high praise for a sight called www.elcocolor.com - partly because they have great specials on poster sized prints from time to time but they do all sizes. So good that even with delivery to Australia the price is competitive.

Personally though, for anything up to 8x10 I print myself at home. The Canon and Epson printers do wonderful prints when fed the right paper. Pricing can be very competitive to labs but prints don't always have the same longevity... All depends on what you want. I love the convenience of being able to print at home and the results are better (and more consistent) than any local lab.

Good luck choosing - even with the online labs you might want to try the same few photos from different labs initially to see which you prefer.

there's lots of online labs that have free prints as an incentive to join.
check out shutterfly, yahoo photos, msn photos, etc etc...

you can get free prints from just about all of them.

the prints here from DPC are fantastic, for the price, I'd go with DPC unless you can't wait to ship them or something like that.

I use winkflash.com The ad in the photo magazine said that they print what we send them. I was tired of my photos coming back in colors I didn't send in so I tried them. Awesome! And the price is unbeatable. You have to be careful of labs that enhance your images or color correct for you. I have also tried Adorama but I like winkflash better.WinkFlash

I've ordered 3 times from winkflash. 8x10s are only $1.99 and quality is very good. Highly reccommended.
