		| | "Night shots", what am I doing trespassing around at night? I was in the local mall parking lot the other night taking pictures when security approached me and told me to quit taking pictures. I asked why and she said that camera, video cameras, and such were not permitted without written permission. I live in California and I thought the law was that any pictures taken outside of an establishment or public place was all right? Do we have anybody out there that knows the law? |

		| | The trick is DONT GET CAUGHT. Then the laws don't apply. :) |

		| | Maybe you better check with Washington. I think there has been a total recall of any rights that we had before 9/11. |

		| | I took my picture in a place where no one should mind. I still had a couple drive by me and almost stop until they saw I was just taking pictures. I guess in this day and time, everyone is a lot more cautious. I can certainly understand there is a need for it.
Oh, and my sincerest thanks to mikeys_bistro for the camera advice. For the first time I had some really nice night shots.

		| | I also feel creepy stalking around at night with my camera. I'm sure the residents of my location didn't mind but someone watching would have thought it pretty strange. |

		| | I thought about may calling up the local airport to see what times their flights come in so I could get night shots of aeroplanes, but I thought that the people would think I was a terrorist so if I'm gonna get the shot I guess Ill just have to be snoopy about it. |

		| | Maybe you could stand somewhere outside the airport. I have had planes take off right above me on the interstate outside of the Atlanta and Birmingham airports. I always thought those would make some great pictures. |

		| | The law is: for publication (and this site counts) you must get a property release (very much like a model release for a person.)
The practicality is no one will care unless there is controversy. If the property has a rent-a-cop who catches you while he is on his work break chances are he will ask you to move on.

Damn, I think you just successfully tied the last 3 challenges into 1 photograph. Good job, though it is pretty blurry.

		| | haha yea, my camera doesn't do a good job focusing when there's very little light. The version up from it, the 707 apparently shoots lasers out so it can focus well in no light. I took two others in the same style, one was in good focus, and the other was much more out of focus, and I don't think it really detracts from the image having it only part way clear, since it kinda lends to the spookiness. |

		| | Yeah, I agree. Now take that picture again standing in front of a building and you have an architecture submission that also has the last 3 challenges included. |

		| | haha that'd be great. i could add each challenge to the picture. as long as we don't have any underwater shots, i think i'll be fine |
