Canon EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM

Hey guys--
I just had to 'vent' a little bit--cuz I got a new camera!!!! : P
I'm pretty excited about it.
I bought the digital Rebel off of eBay about a week ago, it was $1,100 but it came w/ Photoshop Elements, a tripod, 2 Sigma lenses and a Canon lens as well as the Rebel body.
I didn't think that was too bad, considering the fact that the body alone usually goes for about $900, huh? : )
So, I was playing around with it today, and here's one of the pictures I got:

I'm pretty happy with it, it is a very nice camera--now all I have to do is sell some photos so I can justify spending my life savings on it... : )

you got to love that beast! mine keeps giving me "error 99" when i need it the most, and my 420EX no longer works, and my lens is acting up on me, and everyone hates me....but besides that its an awsome camera!

Congradulations on your purchase, my friend has a Rebel and he loves it, you got a lot of extras too so that is great you are all ready to GO... have fun and enjoy your new camera.

Picture is nicely framed, clear, so you're off to a good start.

Welcome to the canon club -- you're going to love it...it gets more and more interesting every month. Read the owner manual at least a few times and keep it handy to refer back to.
