Hello!
Does anyone know how to make navigation bars in dw 4? Would like to create something like the one dpc has?

I've only used dw4 on a few occasions but I don't think that there is a built in function for a navigation bar like on this site. I believe it is probably done with a java script function... with a mouse over action or something similar. I'll play with dreamweaver for a bit and see what I can find. You may have to find someone to write a function for you... with your specifications.

thanks! Ive been playing around with it as well & cant figure it out.

| do u have fireworks? it would probably be easier to do it in fireworks and just export the html. |

Those are DHTML scripts. You can find samples here and instructions on how to download the scripts to your server and what variables can be changed to customize them according to your needs.

| Well... I actually have dreamweaver MX so I'm not sure if it is the same as 4 but there is a navigation bar function in the tool bar. I'm not exactly sure how it works though so I'll have to play around with it. |
