I have been playing around in photoshop and I was trying to add some depth to this photo. Do you think I havwe succeeded in this task. If not have I improved it in any way.

Assuming the first photo, "redo", is the after image I think you may have gone a little too far. The burned/darkened portion is a little heavy and removes some of the nice color in the water. In the upper left it becomes a little splotchy looking. A little less and I think it would improve the image.
