This is the least amount of comments I have ever had this late into the challenge.

The shot is only ordinary and is sitting around 5.3 but it has just amazed me that i have only one comment.

I only entered this challenge to see if my idea of Bokeh was on par with what others thought. I just have to see if more comments come on the last days.

I think what's happening is that most of the pictures in this challenge are amazing... I never gave so much votes above 5. On the other hand, this isn't a good challenge for pictures that "speak" to you. There are really beautiful pictures, don't get me wrong. But most of them don't have much more than a main subject and a blurry background. It's hard to carry an emotion since the compositions are limited.

But beautiful work! Congradulation to everybody that entered.

I'm at 4.61 and have 3 comments.

Actually.. I pretty much think that I'm going to *only* submit shots that will do 4 or below from now on.

FIGHT THE MAN!

I've got 5.6 (almost) with 6 comments.

I am currently on 5.3 with 2 comments at bokeh, but 4.4 with 6 comments at the movie titles.
Well, pretty lousy scoring i'm afraid, and most dissapointing, but I have totaly given up on understanding commenters logic...

Average photos usually get the least comments because technically they are satisfactory. In most cases there is nothing good or bad that can be said about them. And rather than hurt someones feelings by saying that an image lacks that certain something or is boring, the voter says nothing. Also we have to remember that most images fall into this average slot, it's just simple logic, which means less chance of being singled out for comments. Personally, I try to comment on images I vote in the 4 - 6 range, because these are the people who get stuck in a rut with their photography. I know this from experience.

I'm just appalled to see my score drop by another .05 in the last few votes. This must be the biggest disappointment I've had to date. :-(

This is not bad, my score dropped a full 0.1

There's another thread going on right now beating up people who don't leave the "proper" comments on submissions...that helps to keep the comments down.

Still only got one comment from this challenge but that's no big deal I have a better understanding of bokeh.

Still a bit confused though is this good/bad or ordinary bokeh.

I know the subject is ordinary but any comments on the bokeh will be greatly appreciated.

I would say, good bokeh but a little dark to the right,
