A friend gave me this lens and I'm not quite sure what it is. All it says on it is: Night Crystal Pro AF 0.42X Super Wide Made in Japan

The lens itself has a reddish tint to it. It's obviously a wide angle adapter, but is there more to it than that? I've done an internet search (far from exhaustive) and found nothing about it. Does anyone have any experience with this lens or any ideas about it?

Not much on the net - in fact nothing not even a shop.

Found this though? //photonotes.org/reviews/fisheye-adapter/

Hmmm, definitely not the same exact lens, but the description isn't too far off. Not very encouraging. It doesn't fit any of my lenses, so I haven't used it yet. I'm wondering if it's even worth getting an adapter for it.

Thanks, aronya1. They didn't have that lens either, but in general the Crystal Optics lenses that they did have were fairly cheap. That gives me some sense of what I have.
