Hey all,

I got another big opportunity tonight. I have a form in my hands to shoot Slipknot tonight. Basically one of the world's largest punk/rock bands.

Anyway, the bottom of the form (which I have to complete and bring to the venue to pick up my pass) has a spot for a signature from someone at the record company..except they're in New York. ANyone have any experience with this? Not sure what to do with it....

I emailed the guy who sent it to me..but figured I'd post it here in case I don't hear from him soon enough.

Thanks,

Lori

I think the point is that the venue doesn't want to give permission to someone who doesn't have the band's permission (read: the label's permission). I'd work fast to get hold of somebody and send a fax...

But I really have no clue when it comes to this stuff...I have no idea what you should do next...

Well if it's all legit apart from the sig, I would sign it myself.

What does it actually say "word for word" at the bottom of the form?

It's a legal pass.

No worries, I just heard back and they're going to sign it at the venue.

Except now I don't know where to get it signed ... lol

I have to be at the side door with it completed by 9pm...oh well, like all things in my life, I'll wing it. It usually works out. If I weren't exceptional at "winging it" I wouldn't have gotten this gig in the first place. lol

P.S. the form came directly from the record label and they know it's for me. Hence why I was confused.

Thanks Mel :-)

My site was deleted from my server without me knowing so now I'm in a power struggle with my service provider to get it back. If not, that means I have to have someone build it from scratch.

I'll let you know what happens :-)
