Well, I just finished voting on the Movie Title challenge. I didn't enter, and have decided that the only way I can really fairly vote is to only vote on challenges I haven't entered. It was so much more fun that way! I found that my scores given are higher and I feel a lot better.

anyone else feel this way?

If you feel that having an entry in the same challenge you vote in will obscure your voting then you can goto My Home > preferences and turn off view score and you will not be able to see your score during the challenge. You still can view comments by clicking your thumbnail picture on your homepage.
If you feel better voting in challenges you don't enter, thats OK if it makes you vote comfortably.

Most of the time I find that I appreciate the image more when someone had done a better job than me. I think appreciate the work more in challenges that I do enter.

I feel the same way, and certainly enjoy the other entries. However, I have a hard time separating my hopes for my own entry from the scores I give out. It is just more relaxing and enjoyable for me voting as someone who doesn't have a vested interest in the outcome.
