I was able to get out a little earlier this morning and decided to go by a local creek that I've been meaning to shoot for a long time. Was hoping to get a nice shot for my Photo-a-day project. And I came across this little gem.
It's nice seeing the morning sun and being the only one around to enjoy it.
Just thought I'd share it with all of you. :-)

BEAUTIFUL shot, jenesis. Process a little more detail into the extremely dark lower right? Not much, just a trace of hull separation?

Thanks Robert, I'll try that. And might I add that your Backlit Marsh shot is quite beautiful! :-)
Here's another from this morning that I was able to pull a little color out of the sky. Does it look natural or a little too manipulated?
Thanks for any comments or critiques. :-)

very nice shot J!
I really like the reflection of the sunrise on the canoes.
Good stuff!

Jenesis,
The second shot the sky doesn't match the reality of the reflection very well. I'd mute it down. You don't need that much color in this shot. Perhaps even crop out a third of the sky...
