I would like to applaud the launch of the bokeh challenge. I was just going to sudjest a challenge in that nature.. or rather in the nature of making us use a certain technique. I think this would be especially educational for the non-member challenges as perhaps they are thew newer memebers. In any case, challenges like
rule of thirds
leading lines
repetition

... and bokeh

I just posted the same idea about a week ago, called back to the basics. I completly agree with you, we need to learn the rules before we can break them and after spending some time around here I don't think many people know the rules and are just breaking them
