I was just telling Rita this morning I need at least 20 mega pixels to get what I want in resolution. Hummmm. Sounds about right. It̢۪s fun to dream. |

So this thing makes images of around 6000x4500px? 6000*4500=27'000'000
Right?

Something like 5400x4000 given the sensor size and pixel count. The pixel pitch would be close to 9 microns, which is similar to most 35mm DSLRs

this is a HEAVY camera. A friend of mine has one of the older Phaso One backs - only 11MP :) - but the Hasselblad itself is real heavy.

Gotta have world-class glass, too... Sigh. I used to use a 'blad back in the day, loved it. Who cares about heavy? I'm a tripod guy, and heavy = cardiovascular exercise, LOL. Youw ant heavy, try lugging my old Sinar P 4x5 into the wilderness. That was a 60-lb load, minimum, sometimes 75 lbs, depending on what I had to take with me.
Robt.
