| I have my picture for the waldo challenge and in order to get it under 150k I have to save it under quality "one". is this common? is this going to effect quality? Can I do anything to fix it? |

that seems a bit odd - is it possible that maybe you forgot to resize it to 640 on its maximum dimension?

Normally I can use quality 10 out of 12 in photoshop to get to 150k. What program are you using? Also, make sure you don't have a really high DPI setting and check your pixel count is within the 640 pixel limit.

| Doesn't sound ok if you have already resampled the image. Use Save For Web feature if you are using Adobe Photoshop. |
