hi, sorry to bother u all who understand PS but and i know i forgot (i know i've been told)
-here's the ?-
does Gaussian blur affect the pixels of a shot in a way that moves them?
put simpler-
is Gaussian blur allowed in Advanced Edit(or for that matter any edit)

| Far as I know it is allowed in advanced editing rules, and, so long as applied to the whole image it should be fine in basic editing too. |

cool thats all i needed
but please don't stop i'll go through with my editing now.....but if any elce has any solid knowage as to weather or not and what it does to the pixels of an image please post....
my editing starts now

Gaussian Blur is acceptable in Basic and Advanced Rule Sets.

To answer your second question, as far as I know Gaussian Blur does not physically move the pixels of an image around; instead, it reduces the distinction between pixels. Gaussian Blur, as Arcanist pointed out, is allowed in both Advanced and Basic editing. In basic editing, it must be applied to the entire image uniformly, as no selections are allowed in basic.

thanx bear_music, it makes sence to me now.(why its allowed and not ruled out like other blurs)
