I saw someones post here about a photo a day thing and thought this might be a good thread to start...

Jim Brandenburg is an amazing photography. One of the most highly respected nature photographers out there. He did two seperate 90 day studies. All of the images are just wonderful... Enjoy them.

This Brandenberg guy is alright. If he hangs around here for a few months, participates in a few challenges, learns to comment, etc., he might be pretty good.

Anybody know if he shoots digital or film?

The guy just rules!!! Probably the most famous Artic Wolf shot ever shot...

I read his description of taking this image in one of his books. He shook as the sky opened up just enough to light up the wolf. He was able to get 3 or 4 exposures. He said he was shaking so much from excitement that he almost couldn't get a still image... LOL

He is definitely one of my favorite photographers...

Even more amazing when you realize that he allowed himself to take one and only one picture each day for those 90 days...

Amazing point Eddy (Happy and Merry by the way). He only clicked the shutter once a day!!! Damn. That is just amazing. Makes me feel almost foolish...

This guy is great! I was reading the titles and was interested in knowing where he shot these and to my amazement they are in my home state of Minnesota! I know where I am going for a summer vacation! I have lived here my whole life but have never been to Northern Minnesota or to the Boundary Waters. And now that I have a new camera I can go up there and take lots of shot..Whoohoo!

Happy New Year!

That is so funny! Can you imagine seeing that wolf sitting there and being ecstatic about the placement, then...no, it couldn't be...the light cracking through the clouds to illuminate the wolf!!

That would be awesome!
