The idea came to me as soon as I saw there was going to be a Pets and Their People Challenge. I wanted to have a dog or dogs kissing their owner. A person from work came to mind. I had just used her in Humor 2 and felt she would be perfect for the part.

As fate would have it she showed up at work with her two dogs. The dog I used in kissy face was the one that ate her dash in the VW. Amazingly she was not that upset at what he had done to her car, I know I would have been. Her name is Jamie and her dog is Hunta.

My second choice was this picture. Originally I had wanted both her dogs kissing her at once but it was very hard to get them to cooperate. I thought of the idea of using peanut butter placed close to her ears so the dogs would lick it off. It would look like a kiss I was sure. I still had a hard time getting a clear picture, this was the best.

Next outtake which I like a lot is both dogs again but I wasn̢۪t sure of the composition. It was just a sense that things felt disorganized. But I think it would make one fantastic painting.
I also had my Daughter D̢۪Arcy holding the leash to Hunter so he could be controlled. He wanted to run of as soon as we went outside. It was quite an experience and it paid off with a ribbon. Thanks everyone that voted for me. John.

Just a "person from work" ??
Few people from work would be willing to chew on old dashboards and let huge dogs lick one's face.
-- Priceless --

It was sort of funny a bunch of us going outside to do this photo shoot while were supposed to be working. And Jamie was laughing so hard at times I couldn̢۪t get any pictures. It was a strange week with Christmas coming we were all quite relaxed I guess.
