Going to Niagara Falls for new years, hopefully have the damn thing figured out by then and post some pics.

Make sure you insure it with a reputable company. That way, if you accidentially drop it over the falls, you might upgrade to a Canon.

Only the most popular cameras on this site- preferred 10 to 1 by discrimminating SC members and admins. It only makes sense that if you're gonna shoot something with confidence, shoot it with a Canon. ;-)

(BTW- congrats on your new toy!)

Congrats on your new purchase -- tons of fun! I don't know what you upgraded from, but my new rebel's been so much fun so far and I have barely used it -- I've been too busy moving (just got the computer set up here actually and my back is KILLING me!).

thats cause nikons are big $ look at what the big guns are using nothing beats the D2X (drool) not even a canon.

and no CCD noise it uses a less costly CMOS censor(drool once more)

can't beat it with a stick...well u can but then u are rouning a $10,000camrea that would be doumb.

nikon till i die

*edit**spelling* if u have a canon shoot it.....then once u get the scraps picked up, buy a nikon-j/k old joke

Just like Ebola. All we can do is wash our hands frequently and avoid third world camera shops.

Ahem! Look at the sidelines of any major sporting event...HUGE White lenses..

Canon DSLR's all have the low noise CMOS sensor. Nikon is just starting to find the light and using CMOS on the upcoming D2X...
