I can't figure that out, and also to is there a in camera way to set the image to black and white or do I have to do all that post editing?

I don't think you can double-expose with the D70, but it's one of the things I keep meaning to verify by reading the manual one more time.

However I am sure you can't do a direct black and white exposure in-camera - you'll have to desaturate later.

you cannot do neither multiple exposures with the D70 nor shooting in B&W. Of course both of those can be done in post editing.

If you are referring to continuous shooting, that's page 62 of your manual.

Have you sat down and read the manual from front to back yet? If not, I would highly suggest doing so.

i can never figure out the bracketing when i'm out and about and fumbling with it. i think i need another run through the manual myself.

Why bracket, when you can shoot in RAW?

RAW cannot change shutter speed or Aperture :)

Exposure-Bracketing will only be done automatically when you set the shooting mode to continous instead of single. If you are doing AEB in single shot mode or with the timer on you'll have to trigger the shutter yourself for each exposure in the bracketing sequence.

Bacause blending bracketed exposures gives clearer results than blending over- and underexposed varieties of the same single RAW shot.
