My photo in the Mechanical Challenge has been marked for disqualification.
Over my noon hour I sent the origial file and details of post-shot editing that I performed.

Its my first challenge and I'm really excited about it.
I hope my first one does not get DQ..

How long does it take for someone to review it and get back to me.
Should I know by the end of tonight?

It depends how quickly it can be reviewed by the site council members and that will depend on a number of factors.
My submission for "Deja Vu" was DQ`d last week and it took three days for a decision on that one.However, I`ve had images validated within hours of submitting the original on previous occasions.

We need to have a majority vote of the SC so it shouldn't take too long but may not be finished for a day or so. Hang in there!

The longest I've seen it take for me is 2-3 days.

This is so much fun watching the votes, but at the same time it's killing me that I have to wait and see if my photo gets DQ.

Hope it works out OK John, I had one of my entries DQ'ed once...

The guys on this site are usually pretty fair and give a reason for the DQ if given, in my case I agreed with them in the end so I was not dissapointed! (also it was bombing anyway!! LOL)
