I know we were having a discussion about blown out skies before, but now I can't find it. Just thought I'd share a composite image I just made:

This isn't legal in any DPC challenges, but its nice to be able to do for other things. I created it using these two images:

I ended up having to use "free transform" to get the sky to fit properly because it was a bit off. But all things considered I'm pretty happy with the results. How the heck did people get properly exposed skies in their photos before PS?!?!

On an unrelated note, here's a detail shot I took at the same church. No comps here, all one image:

By using a graduated neutral density filter. :)

Scott, you didn't have to take yours down, it just wasn't what I was trying to acheive! I'd have been interested to hear more comments.
