I know... enough with the Kitty pictures, but oh well. These are precious to me and I wanted to share.
Annabelle just hit 6 months old on Christmas Eve, and is a true pleasure to have around - what a character!
For those that don't remember, on June 24th of this year, I saw a large Red-Tailed Hawk across the street from my shop and grabbed my camera to see if I could get close enough to snag a few shots. (no Bigma lens then)
After flying away, I found out why it was there. At the base of a tree, were 2 abandoned newborn kittens that evidently were to be lunch for the Hawk. We took the Kittens home, and though one only lived 2 more days, the second one, Annabelle, is the subject of this 6-month Photo documentary (in chronological order).
(some of these may be familiar)
What a gift she is.

There's only one problem with sweet fluffy kittens....
They grow up to be cats. (my cat has an attitude the size of the grand canyon).
But being a cat liker I understand the emotion here especially you are being mum to it as well.. enjoy her |

Nothing like putting the word Kitty in the subject line to kill a thread.

I remember it very well, Brad. That's when you became my hero. It was before all your blue-ribbon fame. I think at that time you only had one blue ribbon. :) I'm glad you posted some new ones for us to see her progress. |

I don't have cat's anymore (allergic), but it's a cool series and I love the one's with the cockatiel and the cat! Our puppy had a rockier relationship with our cockatiel when my kids found him "playing" with it. Since then, our cockatiel doesn't get out much--though I am pretty sure at this point, our full grown yellow lab, wouldn't do it any harm.
But I would never have guessed a cat and a cockatiel could get along! |

No doubt Annabelle learned to respect birds early on. ;-) |

Wow- seeing these is a first for me. It's amazing how quick she went from not looking like she might not live long, to adorable kitten, to practically grown up!
Makes me wish I'd taken more pix of my boy when he was little.
