The Showcase School here in Atlanta is where I took all my photography classes- they also have a store (both brick and mortar and online). I just received an email from them alerting me to the fact that they now offer a Snapfish like service, where you upload your photos and they print them for you. Right now they're offering 30 free prints. Make very special note of the catch, however, in the user agreement:
5.b Copyright
As a condition to use of your Account, you hereby grant Dealer a perpetual, universal, nonexclusive right to alter, remove, copy, display, publish, modify, transmit, make derivative works of and distribute any Content for the use within and for the protection of the site and its features. You remain the owner of all Content that you submit to the Service and as a condition to your use of the site, you represent and warrant to Dealer that you are the owner of the copyright to Content you submit to the Service or that you have written permission from the copyright owner to submit such Content. In addition, you warrant that all moral rights in any Content have been waived. Your physical or electronic sharing of your images constitutes permission for reprinting by the recipient. You agree to indemnify Dealer for any violation of this provision.
That being said, this would be a great service to use to print quickie snapshots to send to family, etc- I did this with my 30 free Snapfish prints. Uploaded snapshots from Christmas to send prints to my mom and grandma. I won't be using either of these services to print my "good stuff". I have gone into the store and had Showcase print photographs for me before and they did a great job.
