Yesterday we went to shoot at an abandoned sanatory for Tuberculosis, and a friend took this picture. Afterwards we noticed a human shape, but there was no one around when we were shooting...
Weird!!! Don't you think?

There appears to be a figure in the bush just to the right of center. |

I'm not seeing it. Flowers in various shades of illumination? More? |

If you blow it up you can see how the figure is formed and then it is not so spooky, but it would have been a great one for hidden faces

Follow a line from "g" in jpg toward the top of the picture and you should see it.

I see lots of possibilities that could be a human figure with sufficient imagination, but it's not very convincing to my eye. Better, IMHO, is my own entry to backlighting, which contains the ghostly figure of a woman who must have inhabited my house in years past. Look in the vertical band and be amaaaaaazed...

Strangeghost: can we assume the woman who used to live in that house was blind? ;-)

To the right of the picture, the legs are formed with the left legs of the bench, and the light between the bushes creates the form (illusion?) of a man with a cap.

I thought I had Strangeghost the first time. I didn't expect him to come back and Levelor the playing field. |

If I were you, I'd be turning several embarrassing shades of pink.

Robert, I love your photo.
I saw the "person" immediately, its quite spooky.
Even after I saved the pic to zoom in on it and saw how the illusion happened, on zooming back out, I can still see him standing there with his cap and glasses.
Giving me the shivers *g* |

I agree!! It's amazing that many of us have been able to see the same person with cap, glasses and yellow shirt. All the people that were shooting at the location couldn't help but feel spooked out when we downloaded the pictures to the computer and looked at it for the first time.
It seems that this isn't the first time this has happened at this abandoned sanatory. Afterwards we found out that a local newspaper photographer shot an old lady looking out a window in one of the locked out buildings, and lots of people that live around this place have reported sightings of people coming and going inside the buildings even though they positively knew that nobody was inside at the time.
Makes you wonder....
