Are you serious? Don't you listen to music? The iPod, quite apart of the photo capability (which is a little novelty-ish for me), the iPod can revolutionize your music listening habits.

I listen to a lot of music, but not with headphones. My camera has a firewire output, I don't think I can download my pictures easily to the Ipod. No time or interest in playing with it, or setting it up.

I felt the same way about headphones originally, and still do to some extent, but when my wife and daughter got me an iPod for my b-day 2.5 years ago (I had never even considered one), my life was transformed. I spent about two weeks ripping music from my CD collection (and have since spent hundreds at the iTunes music store). My favorite way to listen is to plug my iPod into my living room system and put it on shuffle. It's like my own personal radio station. I also use it quite a bit with headphones.

You ought to put it on eBay. As a new, unopened item, you'll get very close to the list price. Good luck with the sale!

Thanks for the input. There are so many scams on e-bay. I'm a little reluctant. I think I am electroniced out. I just spent a frustrating two hours last nite setting up Tivo (another gift). It almost works, has the wrong times for the programs I'm supposed to record. Anyway, back to work. Will be online tonite.

You can get an FM transmitter so it will play through any FM radio, even in the car.
You don't need headphones then.
