Cute shot. You could have probably improved the composition from some angle and aperture. |

Very cute shot.. there is a bit of a green/blue tint. I messed with it on my comp and I think if you fix it the color of her skin is much nicer. Beautiful eyes. |

Thanks for the comments so far. This looks quite a bit different than it did on my home monitor. I will take another stab at the editing when I get home. |

Nice portrait, clear and well framed. I agree that there's a blue cast overall. I ran an orange Photo Filter on it @ 40%, then History Brush on the eyes and coat. Seems better to me.

Ok, here is my complete re-edit:
I think I tried too hard on the first one.
Thoughts on this one? |

getting better. typically in portraits, the eyes should be the point of sharpest focus.. if you could nail that here, it would really make this one pop. i found the shadow very distracting (on the right side of her.. or on her left, i suppose) in the first one. the redone version makes a better distinction between the hair and shadow. maybe you can dodge that area a bit (shrug).
i think i also prefer the crop of the second one, for whatever reason.
