I have some money in my account from sales...and now I have to renew my membership...the money I have there is more than enough...can´t I just buy my membership with the money I have there????
It would make the whole thing a lot easier...
I always forget that paypal thing...and have to start a new one...I find the whole thing just too complicated...

I tried to do that, though the sales in my account was only $12.22. I emailed if I could use that to partially pay membership. No reply to my email but the sales money was gone. So I thought it was ok to do. I went to the subscription page to pay the balance but there wasn't a way to pay a different amount other than $25 both in credit card and paypal methods. I emailed again to credit back the sales to my account. Three emails later and no response. Meantime, I've already paid the full $25 and lost $12.22.
Your case might be less complicated because you have more than enough in your account to pay. I suggest to check with them first and make sure they reply to your email.
This was done back in early December. It's a busy time of the year so I'm not pushing it. I'll try another email in January.

I thought the DPC Print account totals would be an option to pay my membership (or at least a part of it) Just got done paying and the only option was to pay via PayPal.com -- |

So far as I know there does not currently exist a way to do this. I'd suggest sending in a Contact form (Help/Contact from the top menu) to ask if this can be done.

This should not have happened. Did you place any print orders around that time? I'm wondering if maybe you applied the $12.22 to a print order and don't remember this?
Another possibility is that they took the $12.22 and used it to create a coupon code for you. They would have mailed you this coupon code, I suppose. Does your email service filter spam? If so, that could be where it went, as well as any replies to your inquiries.
Site Council does not have access to customer account information, so I cannot check this. I'll ask Drew or Langdon about this for you next time I see them online.

Thanks, Terry for this info and assistance.
To answer your questions:
1. No I didn't order anything around that time.
2. I didn't get an email with a coupon code in it. I always check my spam folder esp if waiting for an email from DPC 'cuz I've heard some DPC emails getting filtered.

Did you email them via PM or via the contact form?
I would suggest trying another contact (via help/contact... I know you haven't had much luck but it can't hurt)... in the meantime next time I see them online I will ask.

I've got a slightly different problem regarding renewal. PayPal don't deal with South Africa. The company I used to pay membership (by money order) last year doesn't seem to exist any more. I've tried all sorts of search engines and can't find anything that deals with South Africa except one site that has both USA and South Africa under sites they will do business with in the future (whenever that may be). Nor can I buy a money order locally without an invoice. I'm getting quite desperate. I have tried support but all Drew replied so far was that dpc accept money orders. I just wish I knew how to get one. If only I had enough money from sales, but I'm not even close.
Oh, there is a place called Moneybookers.com which claim to pay by e-mail. I don't know exactly how the whole thing works, there was something about having to pay money into an account first (??) and I'm not even sure if dpc would accept payment from them. I'm starting to think I'm not going to be able to renew my membership at all.

Two via the contact form. Two weeks later still no reply so I sent a pm directly to Langdon on Dec 21.

You might try getting an American Express Gift Certificate Card. They may send it over seas for a healthy shipping fee.

I have an answer for you...
Go to DPC Prints and go to the request payment screen. In the "how would you like to receive this payment" dropdown, select "DPChallenge Membership (1 year)" and clich "Request Payment."

I've tried this in the past, but they want invoices before they will do anything, and the extra charges are enormous.
Does anyone know anything about this place:
https://www.ikobo.com/
The only problem I can see is that they do not send money orders, but the person receiving the money must collect it from a Visa Plus ATM.

Gina,
This site should do what you need. They will take payment in ZAR and cut a draft in USD. Any fees are built into the quoted exchange rate.

My Bank in NZ (westpac) will sell US dollars for the local currency. I buy atn the going rate. I post with a covering letter or order details and post. I have never had a problem with this. Thanks, Terry. Franziska helped me sort things out for this year, but I've made a note of that site for future reference. I just hope it still exists in a year's time.

Just found this, you can transfer it by requesting a payment inside of DPCprints: //www.dpcprints.com/account_payment.php. Then pull down the menu, and apply it to "DPChallenge Membership (1 Year)" and now I have another year of membership! |

That's correct. I believe that option was added after this thread was originally posted.
Of course, this option is only available if you have at least $25.00 available for payment.
