Oh these are fountains at Longwood gardens =) I was gonna drive there again for this, but i was on call, so couldn't go anywhere. Very cool.

Btw, you did a very good job with the fountains as far as exposure is concerned. On a lot of my shots the stars in the trees above the fountains are blown out, because they are much brighter than the fountains themselves.

Thanks. I spent a good hour shooting these, and it ruined most the night for me and my gf haha. She won't care though that it's taken 7th. The real trick was not shaking. Longwood doesnt allow tripods, so I had to use a monopod. Thankfully, the IS made it seem as if I was using a tripod! I mean really, .5 seconds!? and there is no camera shake. Really it took a while to get right, but I guess it paid off. Maybe I need to start spending more time on things so I can keep placing high =)

What i did there was use a wide lens and i put my camera on the fence right in front of the fountain. Takes some perspective correction in photoshop, though.

And i was there on Thanksgiving, when it was brutally cold and windy, so i was shaking beyond IS's (well, VR's) help =)

You could have left your gf inside checking out the orchids =) They are cool and it's worm there =)

My wife hates worms.

Edit: I guess it was funnier before the typo was corrected!
