the last time it snowed here was in 1989...even then it was not on christmas day!

The kids looked really excited! Big event for them as they probalby were not even born the last time it snowed! This is the only time of the year that I really even want to see snow in the lowlands. Up here there is always plenty in the mountains to go see. Enjoy while you can before it melts!

its sort of like hell freezing over...new orleans being "sin city" and all. ;) And thats what it takes to get my kids to let me take their pictures these days. ;)

I live outside of Baton Rouge, and while driving to Gulfport, Mississippi this morning, I went through a pretty good snow shower. I had to come back early because it was sleeting and snowing in Gulfport too. I didn't want to get stuck on the interstate. I've lived in the south all my life, and this is the first time I've ever seen it snow on Christmas day.

waaaah! i'm only 3 hrs. north of New Orleans and i didn't get any snow. :( it's DAYUM cold here, though!
