Not too impressive, but I thought I'd share anyway.

Nice daytime moon shot, I wish I could get that good of a zoom. I took one the other day of the crescent moon and wanted a little more detail so made look like a night shot. I think it turned out ok. Here is what it looked like after I made it look as if it was taken after dark.

Heres mine. Used an 80mm refractor. Put camera to eyepiece.

Not a day shot but here is a picture of the last lunar eclipse above the Superstition Mountains of Arizona USA...

Did you take a separate pic of the moon, shrink it, and then superimpose the image?

Actually, it is two images taken within a couple minutes of each other. The first wide angled to get the mountain and the second as zoomed in as my small camera is capable. The larger moon was pasted on top of the smaller one in the wide angled shot.

I did the same thing to this shot. Moon was too small, so i cut it out, blew it up and repasted it.

What lens are you guys using for the moon shots? I have the nikon 80-400 VR. I'll post one with it.

I took this picture at night with my Canon 10D and my new Tamron 200-500mm lens mounted on a tripod... I wouldn't mind some comments :)
