This is a shot that I took in Sedona, Arizona one week before the faces challenge. The question is, How many faces do you see in this photo? There are quit a few. Thought I would add a little challenge.
By the way, any critiques are welcome.
I found at least 8. I will circle them so you can see them. One even looks like Homer Simpson (top right at the peak).

There is one more at the very top of the central pillar. Do you see it?

There are at least 8 or more. I see alot of them. Look at the top right hand corner of the peak. |

I guess it's going to be an extremely polarized challenge... I don't see any faces in this pic. Even where they are supposedly circled. |

I am sorry that I can't circle them right now because I am at work but it looks like the hidden face challenge might get alot of low scores. It will take alot of out of box thinking to see the faces. |

I would say it also depends on purely physical and biological factors. Some people's eyes and mind are better setup to tell this kind of stuff apart. Depends on contrast of the pic too, afaik, but not the color. The part of the brain that deciphers the shapes is color blind.
For instance, i heard that schizofrenics looking out the window at night from a well lit room cannot see the street, only the reflection of the room itself... Don't know if it's true, just an illustration that not all people are created equal in our abilities.
Or, another example, i can never see any of those allegedly 3D images and stereograms. Just can't. |

Point well taken. I can understand that. It will be very interesting to see.
OOps I put it in the wrong place! LOL
