i just got finished with a short photoshoot with my step dad, i wanted to use his hand as a model but he was so hooked into his video game and didnt want to but i bribed him saying that i would do the dishes if he would give me 5 minutes of his time
very pleased with the result i hope you enjoy

Good detail. Funny how no one mentioned how dark the picture is and yes, my monitor is calibrated. The image is lacking highlights other than the small portion of the ring. To make the image pop more and make it easier to see, a little boost in contrast would help.
Here's my rendition. If it was meant to be dark and hard to see, forgive me.

i actually prefer the darker version. the sharp contrast makes the lighting look too harsh to my eyes. in my opinion, sometimes "subtle" is better.
